Claire Delaney-Pope

Claire is currently Chief Privacy and Assurance Officer and Data Protection Officer at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM).

Claire’s career focuses on ensuring appropriate use of data for direct care purposes within SLaM and across the South-East London Integrated Care system (SEL ICS). In addition, she also supports several programmes of work, including those facilitated within the Biomedical Research Centre at SLaM, to ensure the safe, legal and effective use of data for secondary uses.

Claire is the Co-Chair for the South- East London Care Record Governing Group, Deputy Chair for the SEL ICS Information Governance Committee as well as a member of various information governance related groups.
