Jon Moore

Jon is NHS England’s Data Protection Officer and leads NHS England’s Data Protection and Trust team

Jon has been a practicing solicitor since 2008, specialising in data protection and compliance law.

Jon spent his first 10 years as a solicitor in private practice, leading the information law team at one of the UK's leading health and social care law firms.

Since 2018, Jon has been performing the statutory role of Data Protection Officer, initially for a commercial group of companies before joining NHS Digital in 2022. Jon has been the Data Protection Officer for NHS England since its merger with NHS Digital in early 2023.
