Directions given by NHS England requiring NHS Digital to establish and operate a system for the collection of information to be known as the serious mental illness data collection Direction 2018

Purpose

NHS England have commissioned NHS Digital to establish the serious mental illness data collection Direction 2018.

Legal basis

Sections 254(1), (3) and (6) of the Health and Social Care Act 2012.

The Directions came into force on 1 November 2018.
