The Acute Data Alignment Programme Discovery Directions 2021
Directions given by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care to support the aims of the Acute Data Alignment Programme (ADAPt).
Purpose
The purpose of these Directions is to support the aims of the Acute Data Alignment Programme (ADAPt), by piloting the collection and analysis of information about private healthcare. The information will be collected from the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) with the source being private healthcare providers that have agreed to participate in the pilot.
Legal basis
Sections 254(1) and 254(6) of the 2012 Health and Social Care Act (the 2012 Act).
This Direction came into force on 12 October 2021.
