I am a classic geek. I started programming computers in BASIC when I was 8 years-old and spent an unhealthy proportion of my teenage years hunched over a BBC microcomputer. My undergraduate degree is in computer science and I have a PhD in artificial intelligence.
Since then, I've spent the last 25 plus years in private and public sector organisations.
It's absolutely vital we link up with developers and ensure that patients and health and care workers have access to the information they need.
Part way through my career, I moved across from tech to product: first, as a business analyst and then as a product owner. The thing I enjoy most is being part of a team that delivers a product that people find useful.
I've always been interested in integration and APIs. My mission is to make integration easier for people building health and care software and I'm really proud of the work we've done so far.
