CAN02 Naming Error - Updated files
An error was identified with the 'Denominator' measure for indicator CAN02 whereby the measure value was appearing as 'UNALLOCATED' instead of 'Denominator'. This issue affected both the NCDesMay24.csv and NCDesMay24_Cancer.csv. No other files were affected.
Please note that there was no issue with the numeric values which were published, only the incorrect naming of the measure.
This issue has now been rectified and both files have been republished with the suffix '_v2'
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Data quality issue - EHCH01 and EHCH04
Due to a data processing issue, the numerator figures for EHCH01 and denominator figures for EHCH04 have not been included in the publication files in the period April 2024 – September 2024, whilst 0 counts for EHCH01 denominators and EHCH04 numerators have been included. This has been corrected for the October 2024 publication.

Summary
A framework for GP contract reform to implement The NHS Long Term Plan published in January 2019 which describes significant investment in Primary Care Networks (PCNs) through the Network Contract Directed Enhanced Service (DES).
The sixth year of the Network Contract DES began in April 2024. The data provides information to allow effective management of the contract. The indicators are organised into the following areas:
• Access
• Cancer
• Cardiovascular disease prevention
• Enhanced health in care homes
• Environmental sustainability
• Personalised care
• Proactive care
• Respiratory care
• Structured medication reviews and medicines optimisation
• Tackling health inequalities
• Vaccination and immunisation
The data is collected via the General Practice Extraction Service (GPES) monthly and will be published on a monthly basis at GP Practice level.
NOTE: .csv files may not open in applications such as Microsoft Excel due to the number of rows included in the dataset. Users may wish to import the file directly into a database, or alternatively use a text editor to split the file for import/use in applications such as Microsoft Excel.
