This indicator measures the weighted percentage of people who reported that they were successful in getting an NHS dental appointment when they tried in the last two years.
This indicator aims to capture the experience of patients of accessing NHS dental services.
Some different patterns have been observed in the 2020/21 GP Patient Survey (GPPS) data which are likely to have been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Statistics from this period should also be interpreted with care.
