Highlights

This quarterly Sickness Absence publication includes quarterly sickness absence rates by NHS England region and monthly sickness absence rates by NHS England region, staff group, organisation type and organisation. 

Tables 2-5 are published on a monthly basis, alongside NHS staff numbers, to enable the data to be available on a more frequent and timely basis.
