Care Identity Management release 7.32
Planned maintenance release on 19 May 2025.
Release summary
Care Identity Management release 7.32 goes live on 19 May 2025, subject to final testing.
This release adds functionality to self-service smartcard unlock. If a user has a photo of their face on their Care Identity profile, they can now use their device's camera to scan their live facial image and match it to their profile photo to unlock their smartcard.
We expect there to be no downtime during the release.
Face scan added to self-service smartcard unlock
There is now an additional option within self-service smartcard unlock, allowing a user to scan their face using their device's camera to unlock their smartcard.
If they select this option, the user will follow a short series of steps to unlock their smartcard using a scan of their face. Read step-by-step guidance of this process.
