Care Identity Management release 7.9

Care Identity Management release 7.9 goes live on 14 February 2025, subject to final testing. 

This release includes:

• a new tab in which Registration Authority users can view every user within an organisation they manage
• the removal of the 'Assigned to' column on the requests dashboard
• two new options available when giving the reason for closing a user profile

Registration Authority users can now access a full list of all users within an organisation they manage.

To access this list:

• select 'Find organisation' from the Care Identity Management home page
• search for the organisation
• on the organisation details screen, go to the 'All users' tab

Note that users with multiple positions in the organisation will appear multiple times in the list.

From user feedback we've established that the 'Assigned to' column in the requests tab is little used. We've therefore removed this from the service in this release.

We've added two new options that you can provide as reasons for closing a user profile:

• duplicate profile
• opened in error

You'll find these listed with the 3 existing reasons when you choose 'Close profile and remove all access' on a user profile screen.

Errors after the release

There is a small chance that after this release, visitors to Care Identity Management may receive a blank screen or loading error. If this happens, please try these steps:

• force a reload of the page - press Ctrl + F5 (on some computers this can be Fn + F5)
• clear your browser's cache - press Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Delete
