NHS Care Identity Service - Release 11.3

We are releasing an update to the Spine Directory Service (SDS) DEX hosts on Saturday 19 July 2025 between 17:00 and 18:00.

Within the upgrade window there will be a five minute outage across ALL SDS DEX hosts, during which 3rd party systems may be intermittently unable to connect to the hosts/run searches. Authentication, CIM, AfCID, and self-service smartcard unlock will not be impacted.
