How Cohorting as a Service (CaaS) supports programmes

This guide explains how healthcare programmes can work with CaaS to set up and create a successful campaign.

Cohort details

To get an understanding of a programme's cohort requirements, it’s important that as much detail as possible is provided.

With this information, we can work together to:

  • collaboratively define goals and objectives
  • discuss any issues the cohort aims to address
  • agree on expected timelines for cohort data delivery
  • ensure relevant clinical policies and criteria are considered

Main risks and dependencies

When creating a cohort, it's important to identify and address the following areas:

  • known risks: Identify any potential issues that could impact the success of the cohort campaign
  • known dependencies:  Understand and outline the necessary steps for building an effective cohort campaign
  • assumptions: Address and align any assumptions or beliefs about the cohort campaign to prevent confusion

Data requirements

When onboarded with CaaS, healthcare programmes need to provide details on the data needed for their cohort campaigns.

This includes specifying:

  • clinical data: Share information on diagnosis, treatment, medication, and other clinical details
  • demographics: Provide information, such as age ranges and locations, including any inclusion or exclusion factors
  • unique data needs: Discuss any specific data requirements beyond standard demographics or clinical data

Clearly defining these requirements upfront allows CaaS to properly integrate and provide the right identified individual data.
