Digital Medicines Community of Practice
Aimed at: The group is open to anyone supporting patient care. Usual participants include pharmacists, prescribers, clinical safety officers, technical leads, developers and others involved in developing medicines interoperability.
Participants come from across NHS providers, system suppliers and other organisations supporting healthcare needs.
The Digital Medicines Community of Practice supports the design, development, implementation and improvement of solutions, services and capabilities that enable the seamless exchange of fully-structured medicines information across the NHS. The group meets once a month on Mondays, with additional sessions scheduled as required.
By fostering collaboration and innovation, we support safer, more efficient and interoperable digital medicines systems.

Chief Pharmacy and Medicines Information webinar
Aimed at: Digital pharmacy leaders.
The Chief Pharmacy and Medicines Information (CPMIO) webinar takes place every two months and it briefs digital pharmacy leaders on key national developments. This facilitates knowledge sharing and strengthens networks for collaboration on all areas that are focused on the use of digital, data and technology to improve the use of medicines.

e-Prescribing Safety and Optimisation Masterclass
For secondary care colleagues who use the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) system, we also have the following masterclass. Note this is not about the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS).
Aimed at: Digital and implementation leads, chief information officers (pharmacy, clinical, medical, nursing and allied health professionals), pharmacy, nursing, medical and IT teams.
The monthly ePrescribing Masterclass is a forum which fosters a multi-professional space for clinicians, researchers and safety specialists to enhance e-prescribing safety and optimisation. It serves as a platform for sharing insights from research, quality improvement initiatives and national programmes, with a focus on clinical decision support.

ePrescribing Masterclasses materials on FutureNHS
In our FutureNHS space, you will also find our forum called Digital Learning Network - Community of Practice. This helps people who are working in digital medicines and electronic prescribing across the health and care system to connect and learn. The platform provides a safe space to discuss challenges and share ideas and knowledge.
