Digital Staff Passport release 2025.1.101

NHS Digital Staff Passport made changes to the service on 24 January 2025.

This release includes:

• a fix for an issue where the employer portal displays an error page when confirming a digital identity and removes the ability for the administrator to provide a right to work credential
• a fix for an issue where the employer portal does not display the SubjectID field in the DBS check information

How to deal with existing passports without SubjectID

For existing passports that do not have SubjectID in the DBS check information, you will need to delete the passport and send the user a new invitation to sign up for the service.

Errors after the release

There is a small chance that, when a release is complete, visitors to Digital Staff Passport may experience an error. If this happens, please try these steps:

• force a reload of the page - press Ctrl + F5 (on some computers this can be Fn + F5)
• clear your browser's cache - press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
