The UK Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework enables the use of certified digital identity service providers (IDSPs) to carry out identity checks and satisfy organisational needs.

The Digital Staff Passport builds upon this with a series of standards and requirements in the Technical Trust Framework for Verifiable Credentials, data schema and NHS Digital Identity Scheme requirements.

Technical Trust Framework for Verifiable Credentials

This outlines baseline requirements for interoperability, security and integrity to support technical trust in verifiable credentials.

Data Schema for Technical Trust Framework for Verifiable Credentials

This compliments the Technical Trust Framework by detailing the data schema for common set of descriptions, data types and credentials that are commonly required to satisfy employment requirements in the NHS.

NHS Digital Identity Scheme Requirements

This aligns closely with the UK Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework. It is aimed at digital identity verification services, disclosure and baring service (DBS) and right to work checks for the NHS.
