Changes to the help notification feature

Our support notification feature which provides information, within the e-RS system on key changes, has been updated to improve our users’ experience.

Changes have been made to enhance our information notifications.

Our support notification feature which provides information, within the e-RS system on key changes, has been updated to improve our users’ experience.

Having listened to user feedback we have:

  • made it easier for users to quickly dismiss messages
  • removed confusion around when the messages have been 'read'

The new message notification displays the following options:

  • ‘Got it’ – which permanently dismisses the information
  • ‘Remind me later’ – which makes the message disappear, meaning it will reappear if the user accesses the same screen again, having navigated away, or they access the screen again in a new e-RS session

When there are multiple notifications for the user to read, this is indicated at the bottom right. For example, ‘1/3’, meaning this is window one of three to review.

The user now has a ‘Next’ option to move to the other notifications.

Only once all notifications have been viewed will the ‘Got it’ option be displayed.

These changes were implemented in October 2023
