Physical health checks for people with severe mental illness (PHSMI)

This collection will help to ensure that people with severe mental illness have their physical health needs met by monitoring the delivery of a comprehensive physical health check. Learn more about the background to this service, how it's commissioned and the PHSMI business rules.

Background

This extract will enable monitoring of the delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan ambition to increase the number of people with severe mental illness having a comprehensive physical health check. Benchmarking information will be collected on the uptake of the corresponding relevant follow-up interventions and access to national cancer screening programmes.
