People can request repeat prescriptions and nominate a preferred pharmacy in the NHS App. 

 

About the promotional pack

It’s easy to download and print our posters and leaflets to promote the NHS App. You can also share our images on your display screens, social media and website.  

You can use these materials to promote the NHS App in GP surgeries, pharmacies, other healthcare settings, universities, libraries, community groups, charities and anywhere else you can help people learn about the App.

The zip file below contains:  

  • an A4 poster 

  • an A5 leaflet on how to order a repeat prescription* 

  • 2 images in different sizes for your digital displays and waiting room screens 

  • 7 images in different sizes for your website  

  • 3 images in different sizes for use for your X/Twitter, Facebook and Instagram posts  

You can print the poster and leaflet in colour, or in black and white.  

*Print the leaflet file on both sides of the A4 paper and select to flip on the short edge in your printer options. Fold the page in half to make an A5 leaflet.

You can order your repeat prescriptions at any time in the NHS App, without joining a telephone queue or waiting until your GP surgery opens. 

You can also easily choose where your prescriptions are sent by changing your nominated pharmacy to wherever suits you.

You can order your repeat prescription on the NHS App.

On the homepage select request repeat prescriptions.

You will see or can change your nominated pharmacy then select continue.

You will see your medicines select what you need.

Then select continue.

If you're happy with the details select request prescriptions. 

Your prescription has now been requested.

You can find out what to do next, see the status of your request and see that the medicine you requested is waiting for approval.
