ODS Data Search and Export
ODS Data Search and Export (DSE) has replaced ODS DataPoint, the ODS Portal, and will soon replace the website .csv data downloads below.
DSE allows you to design and save your own advanced searches and export results in .csv or .xls format. You can also run/export predefined reports that mirror the current .csv downloads.
ODS will no longer publish the .csv downloads via this website after 30 September 2025. Take a look at DSE as soon as possible and contact us via [email protected] if you require any assistance in migrating to this new tool.
Notes regarding home countries downloads
The ‘niarchive’ file is not available via DSE, so will continue to be published on the ODS website for now.
Data for Scotland is maintained by the Information and Statistics Division of the NHS in Scotland.
The supply of data for Scotland is via an API/automated extract from ISD (Information Services Division) Scotland to ODS. This data consists of the GP practice data (previously ScotPrac.csv) and the Scottish Health Board data (previously included within ScotOrg.csv). ODS publish this data via the ODS API and XML; no new csv files are published for the new data feed. Please note that ODS will not provide GP data from ISD until further notice.
The Health and Social Care Board, N. Ireland maintain the data for Northern Ireland.
