Deprecating the Opentest environment.
After extensive discussions, involving multiple stakeholders, NHS England have decided to deprecate the Opentest environment. From 1st January 2024 the Opentest environment will no long be available. There are several reasons why the environment is to be deprecated:
- All the functionality of the Opentest environment, including access from the internet, is available in the standard Path to Live Spine environments.
- The Opentest environment consists of ageing infrastructure that will be difficult to replace or repair.
- The Opentest environment doesn't support many NHS England services such as CIS or e-RS or recent NHS England services , such as APIM.
Customers in Opentest should begin to consider testing in alternative environments, especially the Integration environment that offers full support for all services
