Stage 6: Deployment and service management
The final steps to install the client and a summary of the live service management arrangements.
Deployment
There are two main steps involved in deployment:
- To complete the connection for SMSP, the supplier will receive an email from the Deployment Issue Resolution (DIR) team providing details of the endpoint registration and how to obtain the certificate.
- Once the ‘use date’ has been confirmed, NHS Digital will create the endpoint certificate to be imported. Once installed this completes the deployment process.
Further details and instructions are available in the end point registration and certificate setup document.
Once deployed, the live service management arrangements are summarised in the service management (live service).
