Guide to error messages in SDCS

When using Strategic Data Collection Service (SDCS) collections, you may get error messages. This guide tells you what may have prompted the error message and how you might fix the problem.

Logging into SDCS

Your current set of permissions prohibits access to this page

If you receive the error 'Your current set of permissions prohibits access to this page' it means your single sign on access has not been associated with access to submit data to that particular SDCS website. Most SDCS collections are on the SDCS Classic website, but there are some collections on other SDCS websites.

This could be because:

  • you haven’t been granted access
  • you are using an email address for your single sign on that is not the same as the one set up in SDCS
  • you are using the wrong SDCS website link

To request access complete SDCS Classic new user request form.

To check your current SDCS access email national service desk at [email protected].

To check which SDCS website link you should be using, visit the SDCS webpage.
