In response to a request from the Department of Health and Social Care for emergency admissions data, by local authority, provider and Integrated Care Board (ICB) for adults and patients aged 65+, to support delivery of the Better Care Fund (BCF).

i) total spells,

ii) spells for patients admitted due to a Fall,

iii) spells for patients admitted for an Ambulatory Care Sensitive Condition (ACSC), and

iv) spells for patients discharged to their Usual Place of Residence (UPOR).

All files contain tables for the following sub-national breakdowns:

Mid-year population estimates, published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) are also included in the local authority and ICB of residence tables.
