Part of workforce Minimum Dataset collection vehicle guidance IT system user guidance
Accessing the web based wMDSCV system
This guidance is in public beta.
User accounts
This guidance is intended to be used by users who only submit data for their own organisation. A single organisation user will be assigned to one organisation only, allowing the user to submit, view and download data for that organisation only.
If you act in a shared service capacity for a number of separate organisations please refer to the relevant user guide.
If your organisation is participating in the collection of workforce data through the wMDSCV, the lead users will be sent an automated email inviting them to the system. This will include a link to the online system, a link detailing more information about the wMDS collection and contact details for NHS Digital. An example of this email is displayed in the image below.
If you have not received an email like this and you require access to the system to submit data for your organisation please email the NHS Digital Workforce and Estates Data Collection, Quality and Standards Team to ask to use the system.
Once invited, you will have 30 days to log into the system and activate your account. If you do not log in within this time your account will expire, you will then need to contact the workforce team to be re-invited to the system. If you have any further problems with your account, please consult our support section.
