Guide to splitting Individual GP Level data report

This is a guide on how to split the report for those of you who do not wish to share the report in its entirety with all of the GP’s in the practice.

Once you have received your report either by accessing the Portal or by email, ensure that you save a local copy, for example, to your desktop.

Your report will consist of a first page and last page containing general information in relation to the data detailed in the report, along with a number of individual reports, each containing data related to each individual GP listed at the practice.

To distribute reports to individual GPs, you may find it easier to follow these steps and send three documents to GPs rather than amend the report each time:

1. Save a copy of the report.

2. Delete all pages other than page 1. Click “Save As” and save locally as page 1.

3. Repeat step 2 for the last page. You will then have two separate documents; one containing the first page and one containing the last page of the report.

4. Go through the report and repeat the above step for each individual GP report. Save each report separately and name the file accordingly.

You will then have three documents to send to each GP:

  • page 1
  • individual GP report
  • last page
