Dental Earnings and Expenses Estimates 2017/18

Main Findings
This section of the report looks at the 2017/18 NHS and private dental earnings and expenses estimates, plus a breakdown of those expenses, of self-employed primary care dentists in Wales.
The results show that in 2017/18:
- for Providing-Performer dentists the average taxable income from NHS and private dentistry increased by 9.7 per cent to £91,900
- Associate dentists saw a decrease in taxable income, with a taxable income in 2017/18 of £59,200
