Upcoming change to Physician Associates
On July 16th 2025, the independent Leng Review of Physician Associate and Anaesthesia Associate professions published its findings and recommendations. These included immediately renaming both roles to be suffixed with Assistant in place of Associate. We will enact this change within our publications from August 2025 data onwards, meaning this publication will reflect this change when next published in September. Historic data will not be updated.
