Changes in this release
Clearer job role labels for directors in CSV
For this release we have amended the Individual-level CSV to more clearly identify the role type of directors, with the staff role field now clearly stating whether the clinical director is a GP, nurse or direct patient care clinician. This means the staff roles in the CSV are now consistent with those presented in the Excel bulletin tables.

New publication
Primary Care Workforce Quarterly Update
In May 2022 we introduced a quarterly publication using additional data sources to complement this publication, which brings together FTE staff working in Primary Care Networks, including ad-hoc locums, and those working in General Practice. The second experimental edition was released on 18 August, initially presenting FTE primary care workforce statistics for the direct patient care, nurse and admin/non-clinical staff groups. Tables covering the GP staff group were added to the publication on 15 September, once final ad-hoc locum data became available.
