As a result of automation of the processes which produce the publication files for this series, there are some minor presentational changes to Tables 4a and 4b in the Excel bulletin file from this release onwards.

The new process has also necessitated a change to the naming of Sub-ICB Locations in column B of Tables 4a and 4b. Previously, where multiple Sub-ICB Locations exist within an ICB, the names of the old CCGs which they replaced were appended to the name to aid users during the transition to the new NHS England structure, which came into affect in July 2022. As a result of the automation which imports directly from Organisation Data Service (ODS) data, these appended CCG names have been removed.

Until historical CSV files can be reproduced, the appended CCG names will remain in the Individual-level CSV to avoid disruption for users who import the CSVs into their own processes.
