Cancer Services Profiles
NDRS publishes data in the Cancer Services Profiles, which are available on the Fingertips tool. These profiles have been designed to support commissioners and health professionals to assess the impact of cancer on their local population and make decisions about services.
These profiles present data by General Practitioner (GP) practice, Primary Care Network (PCN), sub-Integrated Care Board (sub-ICB), Integrated Care Board (ICB) and nationally on:
- cancer incidence and screening
- Urgent Suspected Cancer (USC) referrals (also known as Two-Week Wait (TWW) referrals)
- diagnostic services
- emergency presentations and admissions
The profiles include a back-series of data for more than 10 years, typically from the April 2009 to March 2010 financial year onwards.
National cancer diagnosis audit (NCDA)
NDRS also supports the work of the National Cancer Diagnosis Audit (NCDA) that looks at the patient pathway through primary care to a cancer diagnosis.
Find out more about the NCDA by visiting the NCDA data page.
