NHS Apply for Care ID release 3.4.0

This is to notify you that release 3.4.0 will be completed on 23 January 2025.

For applicants

We've removed Biometric Resident Permits (BRPs) from the applicants journey, as these are no longer accepted as a valid form of identification. 

Bug fixes

We've also implemented various bug fixes.

If you have an RA manager or agent role and you would like to request a new domain to be added, check the CIS allow-list first, and then complete a webform request.

Errors after the release

There is a small chance that after this release, visitors to Apply for Care ID may receive a blank screen or loading error. If this happens, please try these steps:

• force a reload of the page - ctrl F5
• clear your browsers cache - a quick way to do this is Ctrl+Shift+Delete
