NHS Apply for Care ID release 3.6.0

This is to notify you that release 3.6.0 will be completed on 26 February 2025.

For inviters

Inviters can now only resend an invitation twice after the first one has been sent, before the application is cancelled and a new invitation must be created.

For applicants

We’ve introduced strict mode, which presents the applicant with a pop-up message when a photo of a document is not clear enough.

Bug fixes

We've implemented some bug fixes.

If you have an RA manager or agent role and you would like to request a new domain to be added, check the CIS allow-list first, and then complete a webform request.

Errors after the release

There is a small chance that after this release, visitors to Apply for Care ID may receive a blank screen or loading error. If this happens, please try these steps:

• force a reload of the page - ctrl F5
• clear your browsers cache - a quick way to do this is Ctrl+Shift+Delete
