CIS2 Authentication iPad app release 1.8
Release date 8 May 2025 (subject to final testing).
General improvements and clear error messages
As part of ongoing improvements, we've added specific error codes for authentication failures on the iPad so health and care professionals can troubleshoot, reset and report on the issue.
Validate a registration
Technical and support teams will be able to see which credentials are currently registered on the device with the "Validate Registration" button. To see how this works, watch our video.
Reset device in iPad app
Health and care staff members who use iPads will be able to reset their registration without reinstalling the app, allowing the device to be wiped and registered again. To find out how to reset the device, watch our video.
