Clinical Audits and Registries

Clinical audits and registries collect data about the health status of patients and the health care they receive over varying periods of time. 

It is a way to find out if healthcare is being provided in line with standards, and it lets care providers, commissioners and patients know where their service is doing well, and where there could be improvements.
