The cookies policy for the Digital Staff Passport service.


Use of cookies

Current cookies

ARRAffinity, ARRAffinitySameSite

These cookies are set by websites run on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform (which hosts our website). It is used for load balancing to make sure the visitor page requests are routed to the same server in any browsing session.

Cookie Lifetime. xsrf-token

This cookie helps prevent cross-site request forgeries (CSRF) and improves your security. It is essentially another session cookie that makes sure the active user (you) is the one making requests to our website.

.AspNetCore.Antiforgery

This is an anti-forgery cookie set by web applications built using ASP.NET MVC technologies. It is designed to stop unauthorised posting of content to a website, known as Cross-Site Request Forgery. It holds no information about the user.

.AspNetCore.Cookies

This is a session cookie, used to maintain user session state and for authentication purposes.


How to control and delete cookies

We will not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information about you.

However, if you wish to restrict or block the cookies which are set by our websites, or indeed any other website, you can do this through your browser settings. The 'Help' function within your browser should tell you how.
