Deleting your passport
How to delete the data an NHS trust has about you from the Digital Staff Passport service, while leaving it available to other trusts.
Log in to your trust's Digital Staff Passport employee self-service portal.
Note: you will need to have downloaded an access key for your trust’s employee self-service portal before you log in for the first time.
You'll now see a QR code.
Scan the QR code using the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone. To get to the scan function, select 'Verified IDs' in the bottom-right of the screen, then the scan icon in the top-right of the screen.
Alternatively, if you’re using your smartphone rather than a computer to complete this process, you can select the green button to connect to Microsoft Authenticator app.
You’ll then be prompted to 'Share' at the bottom of the screen.
The Authenticator app will notify you that you can return to the previous application. When you return to your browser, the screen will refresh to show you are logged into your trust’s employee self-service portal.
Along the top of the page, select 'Passport and settings'.
On mobile view of the Digital Staff Passport employee self-service portal, select 'Menu' and then 'Passport and settings'.

You can now read more about what happens when you delete your passport. When you're ready to proceed, select 'Continue'.
You'll need to select 'Delete passport and data' on the next screen to confirm.
You'll see a message confirming that your passport has been deleted.
Note: you should also delete your access key from this trust, as you will no longer be able to use it to log into this trust’s Digital Staff Passport employee self-service portal.
