This call for volunteers has now closed
Please read this important information about NHS Digital Staff Passport.
We're looking for volunteers to take part in a pilot to test changes and improvements we're making to the service, to help shape future development.
What this involves
You'll attending a one-to-one research session, usually over a Microsoft Teams video call. The call will typically take 30-45 minutes and can be arranged at a time to suit you.
The informal session will be with a researcher and possibly one or two observers or note-takers. Sessions involve talking about your experiences of using the NHS Digital Staff Passport. We'll ask you to share your screen so we can watch you interact with the service and any new designs.
Who can get involved
We are looking for colleagues who fit into either of the groups below.
Group 1: staff who have an employee record on ESR (with NHS England), either permanent or temporary, including all medical staff.
Group 2: resident doctors or other medical staff who have an employee record on ESR (with NHS England), ideally who also hold a substantive contract or have a working arrangement with one of the existing 12 pilot trusts listed below:
- Derby and Burton Hospitals
- Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals
- George Eliot Hospital
- Nottingham University Hospitals
- Sheffield Children’s Hospital
- Sheffield Teaching Hospitals
- Sherwood Forest Hospitals
- South Warwickshire
- The Rotherham
- The Royal Wolverhampton
- University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire
- University Hospitals of North Midlands
Resident doctors will receive a formal certificate of participation in research in recognition of the value of your contribution, which can be saved to your ePortfolio as evidence of involvement in a national quality improvement programme.
