Deprecation notice: GetHospitalScore endpoint

The NHS England Integrated Search team has deprecated the GetHospitalScore endpoint. This API will remain operational until the specified retirement date 2 May 2025.

What we're doing

On 18 April 2025:

  • we will not be providing any support for the GetHospitalScore endpoint
  • we will not be issuing any updates to the GetHospitalScore endpoint
  • we will not permit any new integration for GetHospitalScore endpoint

On 2 May 2025:

  • we will be removing the GetHospitalScore endpoint
  • connecting parties will not have access to the GetHospitalScore endpoint
  • we will be removing any content related to the GetHospitalScore endpoint from the NHS Digital and Developer websites

Why we're doing this

GetHospitalScores returns ODS codes and Overall Pressure Scores for services profiled with a Beds or ED capacity grid.

The endpoint GetHospitalScores (SOAP API) is no longer in use.

What this means for you

It is important to note that any connecting parties will not be able to call the GetHospitalScore endpoint in the future.
