Referring clinician training session using Microsoft Teams - NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS)
We are in the process of confirming new session dates.
Session overview
Each session will contain approximately 2 hours of training with opportunities to ask questions. Each session covers the same content, so please only book onto one session.
The session is aimed at learners who will be using the referring clinician roles themselves, or wish to gain a better understand of the roles.
By the end of the session delegates will be able to:
- execute a service search and initiate a referral using e-RS
- identify the different referral pathways (advice and guidance, directly and indirectly bookable, referral and clinical assessment services, appointment slot issues)
- manage outbound referrals
- monitor and action worklists appropriately
- generate e-RS quick searches and use them to implement quality assurance measures
If you are new to e-RS, please review our e-RS Introduction video (duration 8 minutes) which provides an e-RS overview, details the main users of the service and their access requirements and explains the types of provider pathways available for patient's referrals.
