Updates to the e-RS screens for service definer users in the NHS e-Referral Service
The e-RS team scheduled awareness sessions so Service Definers can see the main differences to the service definer screens and layout and have an opportunity to ask questions regarding the upcoming changes, due for release on Tuesday 23 September 2025 (subject to final testing).
The awareness sessions have now been completed. A video of one of the sessions can be viewed here.
Drop in sessions will be held after the changes have been released. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
Screen layout changes
Layout changes to NHS e-Referral Service screens are being made to the e-RS screens to improve the experience of our users and to ensure e-RS meets the required accessibility standards; ensuring the service is accessible to all users.
Ten awareness sessions took place over two weeks from Tuesday 9 September to Thursday 18 September, prior to the changes on Tuesday 23 September (subject to change).
The content of the sessions provided users with an overview of the new screen layout, focusing on some of the main differences and how they are used to create and maintain services. Please note these sessions are not intended to be Service Definer training sessions so will not cover e-RS functionality related to Service Definers For example, how to set Service Restrictions.
We may use your details to send you information about future e-RS learning sessions.
