1. Changes to how users view enquiries – service definers  

Layout changes are being made to many NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS) screens to improve the experience for our users. The format of the screens will look different but no new functionality is being introduced. 

These changes are being made incrementally.  

The first change for service definer users will notice is the renaming of the Enquiries tab to ‘Quick search'.

2. Changes when authenticating with e-RS 

Further to previous notifications circulated to all users, the e-RS landing page, which users will see if they access e-RS via HSCN was changed in this release. The option to ‘continue with the old address’ has been removed. Any user who has been accessing e-RS via HSCN will be impacted.
