Future changes planned and past changes delivered for Eligibility Data Product (EliD).
Strategy
The Eligibility Signposting API is our strategic API for accessing vaccination eligibility data.
Our strategy is:
- Expand to support eligibility for different S7a vaccinations.
- Expand to support a number of consumers who need quality vaccination eligibility data.
- Expand to support other services requiring eligibility and signposting information e.g. screening and prevention services.
- Expand to offer further levels of localisation and personalisation data to better improve citizen journeys and experience.
Roadmap
The EliD roadmap outlines the high-level objectives and projects we are researching or planning to deliver in the coming months.
The roadmap was last reviewed by the team in May 2025.
April to June 2025
- Build and assure Eligibility Signposting API (RSV for older adults)
- Create Digital Onboarding process
- Integration testing with Vaccinations in the App (VitA)
July to September 2025
- Deploy Eligibility Signposting API (RSV for older adults)
- Onboard vaccinations in the App (VitA) (private beta)
October to December 2025
- Expand our service offering to COVID-19 and Flu eligibility
January to February 2026
- Integrate with the vaccination National Booking Service to offer a personalised experience
- Create a centralised source of the school aged vaccines eligibility data, in order to better support the roll out of Mavis throughout 2026.
