Challenge

Insufficient bandwidth to support online collaboration limits staff flexibility in ways of working and communication.

Insufficient bandwidth to support therapeutic and online educational services limits patient care, especially for inpatients with mental health issues.

Solution

Improved connectivity to 39 sites (out of 120) across CNWL, including upgrading from FTTC connections to 100MB/1GB bearers.

Extension of Wi-Fi services to all staff to increase staff mobility and flexibility. Supports Gov-Roam and Edu-Roam service provision.

Improved connectivity to 3 prison sites to support delivery of clinical services.
