Digital maternity: harnessing digital technology in maternity services
NHS Digital ran digital maternity projects within the Harnessing Digital Technology workstream until June 2020. This was to help NHS England meet its objective of improving outcomes in maternity services in England and support the Long Term Plan.

This programme focussed on reflecting the implementation of Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) across our products, systems and services. The programme is now closed.

Internet First was a programme set up by former NHS Digital to help health and care organisations in England make their digital services available over the public internet.

This programme is now closed and has been replaced by the Connecting Care Records programme.
Social Care Programme
The Social Care Programme ran from 2016 to 2021 and helped to improve digital maturity in the adult social care provider sector (such as domiciliary care and care homes) and join up adult social care IT systems with the health sector.
