Part of National Pregnancy in Diabetes Audit implementation guidance
Fair processing informing patients
The National Diabetes Audit team with Diabetes UK produce a patient information leaflet and poster. The leaflet has been developed with input from patients. The leaflet should be available to all women preferably at their first antenatal clinic. An information sheet containing the data items collected and different data sources is also provided that can be made available to patients.
Download copies of the patient materials.
Change management
Changes to the NPID data collection are reviewed and agreed by the NPID advisory group before being incorporated. The advisory group consists of clinicians, patient representatives and stakeholders in the audit. Any changes supported by the NPID Advisory Group are proposed to the NDA Executive Group and NHS England. Only once agreed by this group will changes be taken forward.
The audit team ensures that the data set is updated in line with NICE guidelines and in line with the purpose of the audit.
If you require further information about either the NDA Executive Group or the NPID Advisory Group including membership, please contact [email protected].
