Support request guide

To ask for support about a data collection on the Data Collection Framework use the National Service Desk NHS customer portal.  

You will need to choose from one of the following 3 support forms

  • submission or policy support for Data Collection Framework
  • technical issue for Data Collection Framework
  • user access request for Data Collection Framework

User access request 

If you would like to add or remove users from data collections use the user access request form.

Technical issues

For support with technical issues with your data submissions including an inability to log in, a password reset or poor performance use the technical issues form

Using the National Service Desk NHS customer portal

For most users with an NHSmail please use the NHSmail option on the right hand side of the National Service Desk portal home screen.

For users with an @nhs.net email who are also registered to NHS England, NHS Digital, Health Education England

For users with an @nhs.net email who are also registered to one of the following legacy organisations:

  • NHS England
  • NHS Digital
  • Health Education England

You will need to login with a Portal account

To register with the portal you will need to include your 

Once you have completed your user registration you will receive a confirmation email which will verify your account. 


Resetting your password  

You can reset your password if you have an existing account

1. Open the login screen, click the Need help signing in. 

2. Click the selecting the Forgot password option.

3. You will need to enter your email twice to receive a reset email.

4. You will receive a confirmation email.
