2023-24 collection

Similar to previous years, an enhanced validation report (DQ report sent by the Adult Social Care Statistics team) will be issued following the first submission window, with as quick a turnaround as possible.

We have the facility for two named submitters to be listed on the Strategic Data Collections Service (SDCS) system for each local authority.  Please send an e-mail to the Data Collections Team [email protected] with details of a back-up person and state it is for the SALT collection.

Other documents for the 2023-24 collection (dummy template not for completion, guidance and FAQs) are available on our social care collections webpage

Submitters must use the latest 2023-24 template for their collection data (downloadable from SDCS), this is the only version that will be accepted by the system.

Resubmissions

The data collection window will close at 5pm on the mandated deadline day (26 June) and then reopen after the data quality reports have been sent out (10 July).

There will then be a period during which you will be able to resubmit your data, should you wish to do so. This is not compulsory but may be helpful. This service is available until the close of this validation period and this will be the Final Deadline of 5pm on 31 July.

No data will be accepted after the final deadline.
