Comments on this briefing are welcomed. In particular, comments on the following items are sought:
- additional case-mix variables to consider in future publications: the current variables are age at diagnosis, sex, cancer site/group and deprivation
- use of site/group-specific definitions to indicate earlier stage at diagnosis: for example, should ‘early stage’ be considered stages 1, 2 and 3 for breast cancer? This is discussed in further detail in the Technical Documentation for this indicator, however additional views are sought.
