This report presents findings from the Government's National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) for England, 2021/22 school year.

From 14.4% in 2020/21 to 10.1% in 2021/22
The prevalence of Year 6 children living with obesity decreased
From 25.5% in 2020/21 to 23.4% in 2021/22
Boys have a higher prevalence of living with obesity than girls for both age groups
Children living in the most deprived areas were more than twice as likely to be living with obesity, than those living in the least deprived areas
