Notice of Changes

New job roles

Three new job roles were recently added to NWRS and are included in the tables in this release for the first time. They are:

  • Osteopath
  • Advanced Osteopath Practitioner
  • Trainee Pharmacy Technician

ARRS roles expanded

From April 2024, the job roles Health Support Worker and Healthcare Assistant can be claimed for through the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme. Therefore, from this release, these job roles form part of the collated FTE calculations.

Renaming of IAPT roles

Prior to April 2024, High Intensity Therapists and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners were grouped as IAPT Staff in the tables which present figures calculated from NWRS alone, and presented separately in the collated FTE tables and CSV. From this release onwards, both job roles have been renamed as NHS Talking Therapies Therapists and will be presented as such in all publication resources. The same applies to the corresponding Trainee roles.

Transfer of 3 PCNs from 03Q to 42D

On 1 April 2024, three PCNs transferred from 03Q Sub ICB Location - NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB (Vale of York) - to 42D Sub ICB Location - NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB (North Yorkshire).

Consequently, staff FTE and headcount totals from these PCNs have moved in this release from NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB - 03Q to NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB - 42D. Users should consider this when comparing Sub-ICB level figures either side of 1 April 2024.

The three transferring PCNs are:

  • Selby Town PCN (U79246)
  • South Hambleton and Ryedale PCN (U66218)
  • Tadcaster and Selby Rural PCN (U21078)
